A group of six year-12 students completed an assignment prior to the workshop photographing people and places in Newquay that invoked happy memories, inspired them or were places that they loved.
After an introduction by Elena each student was lent a Fujifilm Instax camera (with 10 instant prints provided by NRP) to take on a field trip to Newquay to take more photographs with her for the project.
The Instax cameras were also used to print out photographs.
After returning to Treviglas Academy the images were used to make collages which included natural elements such as flowers, found items and stamps which represented sending a message to the universe.
The collages were laminated and exhibited in the main school for students, teachers and visitors to enjoy.
It was a truly inspiring day focusing on the beauty of Newquay which the students, teachers and Elena really enjoyed.
