Newquay Renaissance Project (NRP) is an exciting new community arts project in Newquay.
NRP’s family of like-minded artists, creatives and educators have designed a programme of inclusive workshops and events that ignite the imagination, inspire creativity and enable people to make new friends in a warm, relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
NRP believes that creative activity feels good and can change the way we think about ourselves. Our aim is to help our community imagine a new and positive future for Newquay.
NRP collaborates with other community projects and artists in Newquay, sharing and nurturing ideas. We also offer residencies to artists from all over the UK and worldwide, enabling them to share their art with our community.
NRP mentors the young people on our projects and connect them with local industries, including creative, green/blue environmental projects, aerospace, fishing, technology and other developing industries in Cornwall.
